More than five million people have been fully vaccinated and more than four million have now had one shot. This was reported by the outgoing Minister of Health Hugo de Jonge on Twitter. The minister gives the state of affairs as of Saturday 26 June. He puts the hashtag #15mljoensteprik.
On the crownedhboard from the government, the counter stands at almost 14.7 million vaccinations. That number is probably not yet fully updated. An estimated 280 people in the Netherlands receive a shot every minute.
According to the minister, the vaccination readiness is 87 percent. That share of adults therefore wants to be vaccinated.
