Team Cap or Team Iron Man, fans still can’t agree on the matter, years after the release of Captain America : Civil War. Visiting Disneyland Paris for the opening of the brand new hotel in the colors of the Avengers and the MCU, joe russian, one of the directors of the film, posted a video on his Instagram account in which he lists the different teams. To everyone’s surprise, after naming those of Captain America and Iron Man, he adds that of Vision. A statement to be taken lightly, but which nevertheless remains without explanation and raises some questions.
In Captain America : Civil WarVision indeed seemed to have sided with Tony Stark, convinced that it was better to play the government’s game in order to always be able to protect the world, while avoiding a repeat of what happened in Sokovia. So he hardly shared a different opinion, so to speak, or even tried to face Captain America with his own group of heroes. Nevertheless, it is true that Vision has always followed its own logic, as it has also explained in Avengers: Age of Ultron. He is neither a bad guy nor a good guy, he just does what he thinks is right, regardless of any stripe.
