Rapper Post Malone Shows Off All-White New Ford GT

Ford GT debuted more than six years ago at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.

The supercar appeared suddenly, stealing the attention of a line of other well-known models who were also ready to slide and make a splash.

The Ford GT is a stunning arrival, resurrecting the automotive icon with technological precision, propelling the nameplate into the 21st century.

She quickly became a sought-after model, thanks to her exclusive production and strong performance. Now, the Ford GT has got a new owner: popular rapper Post Malone.

Earlier this week, Malone posted new photos to Facebook and Instagram, showing himself posing in front of the new vehicle, with the butterfly doors fully open.

In his post, the singer of the song “Congratulations” did not forget to thank Ford and Ford Performance.

The all-white GT looks like a spaceship with its clean and fast design.

Specific details about Malone’s Ford GT are hard to come by, though we know the basics. Right now, that’s all that matters.

The energy that powers the mid-engined supercar comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine, which is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Ford revamped the GT’s performance for the 2020 model year, increasing it from 647 horsepower (482 kilowatts) to 660 horsepower (492 kW).

Torque is 550 pound-feet (746 Newton-meters), which is left unchanged.

The extra horsepower comes from a stronger ignition coil and better piston cooling.

Other upgrades on the 2020 model include a titanium Akrapovic exhaust as standard equipment.

Ford isn’t done yet. They made other changes to the 2020 GT, which include a new vent design for flight support, improved cooling, and a suspension stuffer in Track mode.

We are now nearing the end of the GT production process, which means the Blue Oval flagship will become a hotter commodity.

In 2018, Ford announced it would extend the production phase to 2022, assembling another 350 units. Their total production will reach 1,350.

Ford instituted an application process for potential buyers, receiving more than 6,500 applicants in 2016.

Interest from consumers continues to grow. However, with limited production, only a few will be able to own supercar it – like Post Malone.
