Experts: The spread of the “Delta” version of COVID-19 in our country is inevitable
More than a million people in the city center and eastern suburbs are already under lock-in due to the new wave, but health authorities have said quarantine needs to be extended to increase COVID-19 cases in new areas.
The restrictions in Sydney, home to more than five million people, are the latest in a series of brief but stringent quarantine measures imposed in Australian cities in recent months.
