NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – The standard value indices on Wall Street expanded their recent gains on Friday. The S&P 500, which represents the broad market, even reached another record high and benefited from a rapid rise in the price of Nike shares. The sporting goods manufacturer had presented surprisingly strong quarterly figures. The recent progress made in the struggle for large-scale investments in American infrastructure, which was seen as a sign of an upturn in the US economy, also had a positive effect.
