It may never be as bombastic as in 1997, when the entire Van den Bossche family was taken hostage by a terrorist organisation. Nevertheless, we suspect that the viewers of family eagerly awaiting the season finale tonight. After all, the makers fired cliffhanger after cliffhanger at them.

The kidnapping of Lars

Lars (Kürt Rogiers) had a hard time tonight. The businessman had his sights set on the award for entrepreneur of the year. Only not his company Wolff & Bos, but CoBrew was declared the winner. That was already a big turn off, but it was extra painful that he had to leave the prize to his great rival Mathias (Peter Bulckaen) and his companions Peter (Gunther Levi) and Cédric (Yanni Bourguignon).

Lars was therefore convinced that there was a smell to the victory. He immediately left the room, but then the real misery had yet to begin. Suddenly he gets a hood over his head and he was dragged out of the picture. Who are his captors and what are they planning to do with him? You will see it after the summer.

Quinten’s heart attack

For Hanne (Margot Hallemans) and Quinten (Maxime De Winne) everything seemed to be running smoothly, literally. After Quinten had completed an impressive marathon with his wheeler on the Muur van Geeraardsbergen, the couple seemed to have found each other again after a difficult period. “The only place I have to be is with you,” said Hanne. Love was sealed with a kiss, but the mood soon changed.

She only lost sight of him for a moment, but when Hanne turned around Quinten lay lifeless on the ground. A heart attack. Will he get through or will he be fatal? You will see it after the summer.

The confrontation between Stefanie, Simon and Jonas

It was not good for Jonas (David Cantens) from the start that Simon (Braam Verreth), the ex of his girlfriend Stefanie (Jasmijn Van Hoof), had reappeared. After all, not only had he once poisoned the grandmother, but had also once kidnapped Stefanie. He might claim he had changed, but Jonas wanted him out of the way.

And so he kidnapped Simon and locked him in a harbor container. Stefanie, however, tracked down Simon and tried to free him. And it was at that exact moment that Simon came in, hammer in hand. He was clearly not in the mood for much good. Will someone die or will they be able to calm him down? You will see it after the summer.

Raven’s past

There were also a number of characters who had luck on their side. For example, Peter and Iris (Marianne Devriese) decided to keep their baby.

On the other hand, there were the experiences of Raven (Aaron Blommaert), who found himself in a difficult situation. On the street he was thrown against the wall by a stranger. “You know what I’m going to ask?” he asked in a dark tone. “Where the money is,” Raven replied. What money is he talking about and who exactly is the unknown? You see it after … well, you know it by now.
