The blueberry field
Friday morning, Bleuetière DuRoy opened its doors for the 2021 season, four days a week, from Thursday to Sunday. U-picking is not yet possible, but an inflatable play park is available for families throughout the summer.
Other facilities will be added, such as lint-catching machines. The lack of manpower is still felt this year, but the blueberry farm will be able to operate, unlike last year.
Bruno Roy has several projects in mind. His return, he does it in a big way. He will continue construction of his restaurant on the blueberry farm site as soon as he receives the necessary materials, late due to the pandemic. He is also preparing a horse stable project and a blueberry festival for the 2022 season. He is investing $ 8.5 million over the next five years in his blueberry farm.
“Me, I want to get this fired businessthere all year round. A lot of things are coming ”. But Mr. Roy keeps the events of December in mind, “the wisdom of his December story,” he says. These projects will be ready when they are. He no longer wants to put aside his sanity.
