The Ministry of Health said this Friday that Maria Dulce da Silva Pinto, executive director of the group of health centers (ACES) of Porto Oriental, resigned from her post after the opening of an inquiry into the alleged improper vaccination.
to what the Morning mail found out, ARS Norte has already accepted the resignation and advances as a temporary substitute the name of Miguel Azevedo, who was, until then, president of the Clinical and Health Council of ACES in Greater Porto.
At issue is the early vaccination of 18-year-olds in the region, as was the case of the daughter of presenter Maria Cerqueira Gomes, Francisca Cerqueira Gomes. This is no longer, however, the first controversy in which the nurse, who is already in her second term at the head of ACES, finds herself involved. In 2012, Maria Dulce Pinto, would end up on leave for having presented a résumé with false qualifications.
