The Buenos Aires governor, Axel Kicillof, announced this Friday that from this Saturday there will be free vaccination against the coronavirus in the province of Buenos Aires for pregnant women and people over 50 years of age, no need for registration or previous appointment.
“As of this Saturday there is a free vaccine for everyone over 50 in the province of Buenos Aires”, stated the president during the presentation of a comprehensive plan for Rural Development in the municipality of Tandil.
In this way, all pregnant people and people over 50 years of age who have not yet received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, may attend without an appointment at any of the 700 immunization centers and receive the vaccine only by showing a DNI that proves domicile in the province of Buenos Aires.
From the Buenos Aires Government it is specified that, In addition to the DNI, pregnant women must carry documentation that proves that they are pregnant.
The governor stressed that in the province of Buenos Aires “there is no electoral campaign, only vaccination.”
