Microsoft presents Windows 11 with a fresh look, a new Start button and taskbar, Snap Layouts and more functions.

That’s how it is, Microsoft just presented Windows 11, the next big Windows update at your highly anticipated event. This provides a simplified design and user experience, start menu in the center, new tools such as Snap. Desktops and a new, more intuitive re-docking experience. Option for connect instantly straight from your desktop with Microsoft Teams and more.
The Start button and taskbar have moved to center, which makes it easier to quickly find what you need, Microsoft says. Start now It uses the cloud and Microsoft 365 to show you your recent files no matter what platform or device you were viewing them on before, even if it was on an Android or iOS device.

New tools include Snap Layouts, Snap Groups y Desktops They provide better multitasking and help you organize your windows and optimize your screen space. You can also create separate desks for each part of your life, such as work, play, or school, and easily switch between them.
The widgets provide a curated news feed powered by AI. Windows 11 comes with a all-new Microsoft store that has been rebuilt to provide speed, variety and convenience, says Microsoft. It has a broader catalog of its own and third-party applications and also provides support for Android applications.
Windows 11 will offer an immersive gaming experience with:
- DirectX 12 Ultimate, where users can enjoy stunning immersive graphics at high frame rates.
- DirectStorage enables faster loading times and more detailed game worlds.
Auto HDR that provides a wider and more vivid color gamut for a truly captivating viewing experience. - Access to over 100 high-quality PC games and new games, added all the time and available for Xbox Game Pass for PC or Ultimate customers.
System Requirements
The basic requirements for installing Windows 11 on a PC include 1GHz or a faster processor with 2 or more cores in one processor 64-bit compatible or System on a chip (SoC), 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB or more of storage, UEFI, System Firmware with Secure Boot Capability. Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0, DirectX 12 or later compatible graphics card with WDDM 2.0 driver. Screen high definition (720p) from more than 9 ”diagonal, 8-bit per color channel, connectivity to Internet. And one microsoft account to complete device setup on first use for Windows 11 Home.
- Windows 11 will be available via free upgrade for eligible Windows 10 PCs. And on new PCs starting this holiday and running through 2022.
- The initial version of Windows 11 will be available through the program Windows Insider early next week.
