Different from Ahok, This is a Surprising Confession of the Ex-Pertamina President Director

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia Last week the public was shocked by the confession from the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok. Ahok admitted to accepting corporate credit card facilities with a limit of up to Rp 30 billion.

This recognition was denied by the Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs, Arya Sinulingga. He said that his party had checked with Pertamina. However, the credit card limit provided is only around Rp 50 million-Rp 100 million per person.

In addition, a number of parties were surprised and did not escape doubting the amount of Ahok’s credit card limit.

Executive Director of the Indonesian Credit Card Association (AKKI) Steve Martha also expressed his amazement and disbelief. The reason is, he has never found a limit as big as Ahok’s corporate credit card.

He even mentioned that he never found a limit of Rp. 30 billion for a company. Moreover, given for per person.

“I don’t know and it’s almost never if the company’s limit is up to Rp 30 billion,” he told CNBC Indonesia recently.

Surprise also came from the former President Director of PT PLN (Persero) and the former Minister of SOEs Dahlan Iskan.

Dahlan Iskan even considered that the Rp 30 billion limit was unreasonable.

“Pak Ahok said that (30 m)? Did you quote wrong?” he told CNBC Indonesia when asked how he thought about the Pertamina corporate credit card facility that Ahok received reaching Rp 30 billion.

“I’m afraid my comment will turn out to be misquoted. It doesn’t make sense,” he added, Friday (18/06/2021).

Please note, CNBC Indonesia has asked Ahok regarding Pertamina’s credit card limit, even twice. Ahok also definitely answered Rp 30 billion.

“Yes, President Commissioner with a limit of Rp. 30 billion,” Ahok told CNBC Indonesia, Wednesday (16/06/2021).
