FC Porto is working to try to close the hiring of Colombian Alfredo Morelos with Rangers.
According to the Scottish edition of the newspaper The Sun, the dragons are planning to offer the Scottish club 12 million euros for their pass, but that amount will still fall short of what Rangers wanted, which will be between 17.5 and 23.5 million euros. The player’s agent was in Portugal last week.
Morelos is a striker who likes coach Sérgio Conceição to replace Moussa Marega.
The fact that FC Porto is no longer under the remit of financial fair play may help to make the deal viable.
