SAN FRANCISCO, iNews.id – By the end of 2020, Twitter started testing a feature that lets you use iOS share sheets to add tweets to Instagram Stories. Now, more than half a year later, the company is rolling out the tool to all iOS users.
You can access them by tapping the share icon, which you can find below each tweet. Then tap on the Instagram Storeis option at the bottom of the menu that appears.
In the current iteration of the feature, tweets you share on Instagram end up as non-interactive elements in Stories. And, you can’t tap on one to see it in its original context on Twitter.
So, this feature doesn’t bring many people back to Twitter. But, it makes tweets easier to read in the form of their final Stories, as quoted from Engadget, Thursday (24/6/2021).
