Again severe storms in parts of Austria

In parts of Austria there were again severe storms on Wednesday evening. The Flachgau in the state of Salzburg was again particularly affected. The fire brigade removed numerous fallen trees and pumped out flooded cellars in many places. The cause of this were squalls in the wake of thunderstorms and heavy rains, said the Salzburg fire brigade command. According to the fire brigade, there were fallen trees and flooded cellars in Upper Austria.
