In response to the indications of the State Health Safety Committee, and in support of actions to stop the increase in Covid-19 cases in the state, the Baja California Sur Museum of Art (MUABCS) will temporarily suspend its activities from 23 to 29 June, reported its director, Gabriela Valadez Medellín.
On the other hand, the head of the Museum indicated that, up to now, progress has been made in the museum and assembly works of the exhibition projects at the door “The Territories of the Symbol”, MUABCS collection with permanent validity; and, “Claroscuro”, by the artist Javier Marín, which will be available from this summer 2021 until January 24, 2022, which can be visited as soon as the Health Alert System allows it, he indicated.
These new exhibitions will coincide with the current exhibitions, “Frida Kahlo y Los Cachuchas” and “Diego Rivera: the art of drawing”, works by two great exponents of Mexican art, which have had a significant influx of visitors and that may be appreciated by the public until August 8, 2021.

Valadez Medellín commented that the Museum of Art plans to continue with its activities as soon as the state health authorities indicate it; Likewise, he invited citizens to follow social networks to find out more details about the place.
