Many adults prefer to live and have their own space, 35-year-old Eunhyuk recently decided to move back in with his parents for the first time since he started living in a dorm as a trainee.
Reporting from Koreaboo, Thursday (24/6) Eunhyuk showed off his luxurious country residence. But there is a more touching reason behind his choice than simply living a luxurious life.
“It’s all because of my mother,” Eunhyuk said, adding that he bought a special house for her.

Eunhyuk then revealed that his mother is currently suffering pneumonia interstitial , a disease that occurs when the tissue in the lungs becomes inflamed and injured. Interstitial pneumonia can cause a variety of uncomfortable symptoms, from coughing to shortness of breath and fatigue.

And the most heartbreaking thing is that Eunhyuk’s mother’s prognosis is not positive. He recounted that the mother currently has only 37% of her lung function remaining, and her health is deteriorating.
Eunhyuk said, “Not long ago, his doctor told us. You have to be prepared to say goodbye to him, because it can happen anytime from now on.

Even if her mother could get a lung transplant, the star explained that she only has a maximum life expectancy of seven more years. Therefore, he decided to buy a comfortable house.
The house is equipped with useful equipment such as an elevator so Eunhyuk can spend precious time with his mother during the last days.

After living away from his family for about 20 years, Eunhyuk explained that he felt he couldn’t do much for his parents. “I plan to do what’s best for them, and be a good boy until I can.”
