The limited Cupra Ateca VZ has arrived on the Czech market, it also has an Akrapovič exhaust

The Cupra Ateca was the first model created three years ago by the carmaker. Last year, the medium-sized SUV underwent a rejuvenation procedure, and now the Spaniards are making it even more attractive. The top of the offer now bears the name Ateca Limited Edition VZ, where the abbreviation of the last two letters means the word “veloz”, ie “fast” in Spanish.

The novelty retains the original performance and technology under the hood, in any case, the equipment that the highest step can be proud of is really rich. There are also four-piston Brembo brakes, which are located behind the new, twenty-inch ground wheels of VZ Cooper. The interior then features new leather upholstery in combination with velor, shell sports seats or Beats speakers.

Slovenian Akrapovič also supplies a sports exhaust kit as standard in a limited edition. Of course, there is also a rear spoiler made of carbon composite. Traditionally, the driver can count on adaptive cruise control, lane guidance and a 3D camera system.

Under the hood, a supercharged 2.0-liter TSI engine with 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque remained. The engine is then connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds. There is also all-wheel drive.

In connection with the introduction of the car, Cupra stated that it will be possible to buy it from dealers for 1,519,900 crowns, ie about 220,000 more expensive than the regular version. However, it is not yet clear how limited the VZ edition is.
