When a new cinematic trailer revealed the release date Shin Megami Tensei V last week, we thought we’d be sitting on dry bread for now. And since we saw teasers popping up in Japan after that that we didn’t get, it seemed like that suspicion would be confirmed.

However, the Japanese gameplay trailer that we had to miss has still been translated and can be found below. Of course the gameplay is what you would expect from an SMT game, with familiar menus, monsters and attacks, but something is better than nothing in all cases.
