A woman was taken by the current and fell down a waterfall in Hemsedal

The emergency services moved out at 20.30 on Tuesday night after receiving notification that a person had fallen into the river near Rjukandefoss in Hemsedal.

– The person who has fallen into the river tries to hold on, and people on the spot try to secure the person, wrote the police in the South-East on Twitter.

The police were quickly on the scene as they had just been out on another mission where a lorry had run off the road.

According to Hallingdølen bathed the girl at the top of the waterfall when she was suddenly taken by the current. Then she joined the waterfall, but managed to keep her head above water at the bottom of the waterfall.
