Calhanoglu leaves Milan for the worst rival

Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has been rumored to be out of the club during the spring. His contract expires at the end of June and it has long been unclear whether the midfielder would remain at the club.

Sky Sport Italy reported on Monday that Calhanoglu was ready for Inter, one of Milan’s worst rivals. Something that he himself also confirmed on Monday.

And now it’s official, Calhanoglu leaves Milan and has signed for Inter. The medical examination was carried out on Tuesday, and the contract is stated to be worth five million euros plus one million in bonuses per season.

Last season, the 27-year-old was noted for four goals and ten assists in 33 Serie A matches. In total, he played four seasons in Milan. The last player to move from Milan to Inter was Antonio Cassano in 2012.
