The 29-year-old had a heart attack. Fortunately, everyone involved recognized the situation quickly – and brought the Inter Milan midfielder back to life. A German doctor was instrumental in this.

Eriksen shared the post and kept it simple – he put six Denmark flags and four gossip emojis underneath.

Eriksen didn’t just get in touch via Instagram. “Christian wrote to us in our WhatsApp group immediately after the game. It was great to hear from him, ”said defender Jens Stryger Larsen after the triumph over Russia. And maybe Eriksen has more reason to cheer in this tournament.
