“Of the four forecast weeks, the warmest starting week 25 (probably from Monday) will probably be the warmest, after which the average weekly temperatures should gradually decrease, but they will still be mostly in the intervals of normal temperatures for a given time of year,” the institute states.

In this week so daytime temperatures should remain in the range of 22 to 28 degrees Celsius, nighttime temperatures should drop to seventeen to thirteen degrees.

At the turn of June and July night temperatures in particular should fall more significantly, on average, according to the CHMI estimate, they should be around 12 degrees. However, early morning values falling below ten degrees should not be exceptional either. During the day, temperatures should then be around 24 degrees on average.

The second week of July, which starts an extended weekend with two public holidays, day and night temperatures should continue to fall slightly. During the day they should average around 23 degrees, at night around eleven.

From 12 to 18 July, according to the CHMI forecast, temperatures should remain around a pleasant 24 degrees during the day and at night temperatures should drop to 12 degrees.

On average, it should also be in the Czech Republic in the period up to 18 July rain.

“We expect the most precipitation in terms of the national average this week, in the other weeks they should be close to the long-term averages for this time of year,” says CHMI.

This week it should rain about 20 to 30 mm of precipitation, in the next three weeks it is estimated that precipitation will be in the range of 10 to 25 mm.

The long-term average of day and night temperatures for this period is 18 degrees Celsius, the coldest period from late June to mid-July, the measurements were reported in 1980, when the thermometer’s mercury climbed to less than 14 degrees on average.
