In Ukraine, in July, the price of gas may once again rise: you will have to pay one hryvnia more. This will affect those who waived the annual tariff. The main reason is the record-breaking ten-year rise in the price of natural gas at European hubs.
This is stated in OBOZREVATEL material… So, according to the UEB, the weighted average gas price in Ukraine with VAT from May to June has already increased from 9.4 to 12.1 UAH per cubic meter. Prices continued to rise in July, which will also affect the situation in Ukraine.
Who will be affected by the rise in price?
Most Ukrainians buy gas at fixed annual rates. Therefore, the rise in price will not affect them. Those who switched to monthly rates will overpay.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine says: “Gazprom” artificially lowers gas supplies to Europe on the eve of the launch of “Nord Stream-2”. The excess demand over the application leads to an increase in the price of blue fuel.
