The Spanish Group of Insurance Entities for Combined Agricultural Insurance has already begun to receive the first parts for the damage that the hail this weekend has left in our province.
Santiago Duro, territorial director of Agroseguro in La Mancha, has told us that the damage has occurred mainly in crops such as almendros; cereals like oats or wheat; vegetables like garlic, peas or onion; on legumes or grapes.
Duro clarifies that the storms fell unevenly in municipalities of La Mancha Albacete, such as La Roda or Villarrobledo; of the Manchuela like Cenizate or Alcalá del Júcar; and in the region Center, like Albacete capital or La Gineta.
During this week they hope to continue receiving the parts and consulting with their experts before knowing the total damaged area and degree of damage in crops.
