Staff optician sprayed with pepper spray in the eyes by robber | Inland

One robber entered the store with a gun drawn. He then sprayed the pepper spray in the eyes of staff members. After the robbery, he fled the store with the loot. An accomplice had been on the lookout outside during the robbery.

,,I am angry. Those glasses don’t interest me, that’s an insurance issue. But I’m hell-bent on my staff being done this. You must stay away from my staff. I would have preferred that I had been standing there at that time”, owner Hans Polman told De Gelderlander after the robbery.

The staff members were received in the police station of the Gelderse place. There they were helped to make the eye pain bearable again. There is no trace of the robbers. The police hope to find them with the help of the CCTV footage.
