48 hours after the impressive tornado that swept through Greater Reims, torrential rains again fell on Greater Reims, shortly before 8 p.m. on Monday, June 21. The same effects produce the same consequences.
Avenue Jean-Jaurès was quickly submerged. The bottom of this major downtown axis has been closed to traffic. Shortly before 9 p.m., traffic was restored on the bottom of the avenue and on the Céré roundabout.

Cars with flooded engines were trapped in the rising waters on Boulevard Carteret.
Businesses were flooded for the third time in less than 15 days.
Around 8:15 p.m., the Reims firefighters recorded a dozen interventions throughout Greater Reims. As usual in recent days, the episode was intense and lasted almost 20 minutes.
