”Overwater” by Léa Maryam

In his new melancholy pop title Rising From the Ashes, the Franco-American singer Léa Maryam is reborn from her ashes, like the Phoenix, this bird of fire which regenerates its strength through fire. The singer, who studied voice and piano at the conservatory in Paris for 11 years, expresses herself with a deep and sensual voice in the style of Lana Del Rey. A bass and a drums rhythmically accompany his phrasing to energize the song and bring it another cadence. To give life, too, to the positive feeling of love of a healthy relationship, where souls discover themselves to pull themselves up. In the clip, directed by Lara Panah-Izadi, a man (Yohann Hebi Daher) and a woman (Eva Assayas) enjoy their freedom. Hair blowing in the wind, they dance happily and in perfect harmony on an immense sandy ground.
