FACEBOOK planning to launch a product podcastnya on June 22. This service allows listeners to create clips of their favorite shows.
Facebook is known to have started sending notifications via email to some of its users that they will add Podcasts service on Facebook.
According to an email sent to podcast page owners, hosts can link their show’s RSS feed to Facebook, then automatically generate an upload to the News Feed for all future published episodes.
These episodes will appear in the “podcasts” tab. This tab doesn’t appear to be live yet, but the company has started teasing users with the announcement of this new feature.
“Facebook will be a place where people can enjoy, discuss and share the podcasts they love with each other,” said the email company, quoted from The Verge, Monday (21/6/2021).
Podcasters who publish on the platform will also participate in Facebook’s podcast terms of service.
Along with the option to distribute their shows via Facebook, podcasters can decide whether or not to enable clips.
This can help increase listener visibility and engagement and will be easy to share off-page podcasters.
