LAS TERMAS, Río Hondo (C). As has been happening for quite some time, the hearts of solidarity of the Termenses neighbors joined a new blood drive that took place last Friday in the House of History and Culture of the Bicentennial.
On this occasion, the campaign had the collaboration of 45 donors, where the protocol against Covid was strictly complied with.
During the event, the organization decided to give recognition to all those residents who stood out for saying they were present on several occasions of the campaigns that were called in the city.
In this context, the neighbor Sandra Ianelli was specially mentioned, for having already been a blood donor six times.
In addition, the blood donation campaigns were declared of Legislative and Social Interest by the Deliberative Council of Las Termas.
The initiative was in charge and channeled with a comprehensive and joint work in the team of the Provincial Blood Bank of the Ministry of Health, the Municipality, the CIS Las Termas de Río Hondo and the collaboration of the Deliberative Council.
It is recalled that people between 18 and 65 years of age, who weigh more than 50 kilos and are in good health, can donate blood; present DNI; You should not be fasting (do not consume dairy or its derivatives). Between one donation and another, it should take at least 8 weeks.
A donation takes approximately 15 minutes and each time a person donates blood it can help save up to 4 lives.
