“The crime took place on the Kiev-Fastov train, for the modernization of which the company recently allocated UAH 60 million. This train runs as part of the City Express project,” UZ said.
It is also noted that as a result of the accident, fortunately, the accident was avoided.
“Thanks to the professionalism of the railway workers, the specified rolling stock was promptly restored and the next day it was released on the route. Otherwise, 6,000 passengers who use this train daily would have been left without their flights,” the company said.
Ukrzaliznytsia added that “they are concerned about such an attitude of passengers to the property of the railway”, and also called on everyone to take care of the rolling stock and respect the work of railway workers.
