Tropical Storm Dolores is expected to make landfall next Sunday, entering the southern part of the state.
Today the tropical storm Dolores was formed in the Pacific Ocean and according to the trajectory, it is expected to touch Sinaloa next Sunday.
The report of the National Meteorological System currently tropical storm Dolores maintains maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 85 kilometers.
And they point out that the rains could be accompanied by electric shocks and strong winds, in addition to causing landslides, an increase in the levels of rivers and streams, as well as overflows and floods in low-lying areas, which is why it is exported to the population of the states and to the Maritime navigation.
Meanwhile, state authorities are already preparing to deal with any eventuality.
The Director of Civil Protection, Francisco Vega pointed out that they are already in coordination with the authorities of the municipalities that could be affected.
“We are in contact with the authorities of the municipalities that could be affected by the tropical storm Dolores to be aware of the needs and provide them with the help that is necessary”
The state official called on the population to be attentive to the indications of the municipal authorities and to abide by any instructions to keep them safe.
