In a letter addressed to all candidates in the regional elections of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the inter-union MBF in Saint-Claude alerts elected officials in the event of the sale of the company.
“MBF employees want convergence to take place between the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region project and the future buyer in order to acquire a stake in the new entity. This atypical economic model would make it possible to perpetuate the activity of the company and to keep industrial sovereignty in our region. “
Indeed, on May 24, the regional president Marie-Guite Dufay, in agreement with the head of state, had publicly announced that she was working on a project with an entry into the region’s capital in the future MBF entity, up to a third of it.
Due to the upcoming electoral deadlines, this decision cannot be taken before July 23. However, the commercial court of Dijon put under advisement for June 22 its decision: liquidation or transfer to the sole prospective buyer, Mikaël Azoulay.
