Eloise doesn’t see herself as a ‘count influencer’: ‘I’m just Eloise’ | Royals

entertainment">“When I first heard ‘countinfluencer’ I had to laugh a lot. My friends and I think that name is really hilarious,” Eloise told ANP. “But it’s not something I associate myself with. I know my title is Countess and I’m kind of an influencer because I have a lot of followers on Instagram, but I really don’t see myself that way at all. I’m just Eloise.”

entertainment">When the Countess started Instagram in 2018, she never expected her account to grow this big. “I never started it because I wanted to have a lot of followers, I don’t think that’s important at all. I never thought it would grow like this and I’m not that concerned with the number of followers. It’s not like I’m thinking, how can I get more followers? For me, it’s still a platform where I share things for my friends.”

entertainment">But with a greater number of followers comes greater responsibility, Eloise knows. “I think it is especially important for the young girls to show a real and honest image. I am really myself and want to show that everyone should be too.”

entertainment">Princess Beatrix’s eldest granddaughter shares many images of her life, but there is a limit to what she can post. “For example, I do not photograph or film private family occasions or within my parents’ house. I try to be as open as possible, but because of my role and family, I can’t share 100 percent of my life.”

entertainment">Within what may be shared, Eloise is given complete freedom from her parents. “They release me and trust that I know what the limit is. The longer I do this, the better I understand.”
