In this regional campaign, the Socialist Party candidate tries to twist the neck in the image of good manager Laurent Wauquiez and cites vocational training as an example.
While Laurent Wauquiez is leading the campaign with his balance sheet slung over his shoulder and in particular his financial management, Najat Vallaud-Belkacem opposes another reading: “He secured the future of the inhabitants. These savings were also made on everything that allows people to emancipate themselves, to control their destiny, starting with vocational training, which has been reduced to heartache. When he took over as president of the regional council, we were the first region to start training. Today we are second to last. We are less than 100,000 entries into training in a territory which has 500,000 category A unemployed. That’s what Laurent Wauquiez calls a well-managed region ”.
