The Xbox show from this year’s E3 unveiled a Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired expansion for the pirate game Sea of Thieves. Now developer Rare has released another trailer for A Pirate’s Life, which shows what players can expect when they join Jack Sparrow himself on a treasure hunt.

The trailer – which you can see above – sets the stage for what seems to be a breathtaking adventure. Players must first rescue Captain Sparrow and then embark on a journey that includes new environments and encounters with various Pirates characters – such as Davy Jones.
– Set sail with [Jack Sparrow] to uncover secrets, meet new and old characters and battle surprising enemies as you explore the Sea of Thieves – and visit some new areas that should be familiar to fans of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean movies and amusement park attraction, says game manager Joe Neate.
Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life is completely free for anyone who owns Sea of Thieves. The expansion is being rolled out as part of the pirate game’s next season, which is scheduled to kick off on 22 June.
Next to the Pirates-inspired adventure, a bunch of new enemies await, which according to the developer make skeletal pirates seem harmless. In addition, a bunch of cosmetic items for players will unlock.
