You don’t have to wait long for the Pokémon MOBA anymore

The Pokémon Company surprised us with a near-final release date for Pokémon Unite: the MOBA Switch version will be available as early as next month, and the mobile release will arrive in early fall.

Pokémon Unite will be an MOBA with the little monsters in the lead: in the arenas, two teams of five can fight against each other, and the battle goes to take control points. Players will be able to choose from more than twenty Pokémon, which will be able to develop further and acquire new abilities during matches.

Pokémon Unite is being developed by The Pokémon Company in collaboration with Tencent’s Timi Studio (Call of Duty: Mobile), and the company announced that the Nintendo Switch version will be available as early as July. The mobile release will follow the big brother of the hybrid console in September, and of course the possibility of cross-platform gaming will come alive.

The MOBA will be a free-to-play title anyway, but we can exchange a season ticket: it will feature a variety of skins.
