Major search for 2-year-old boy in Portugal; found only diaper, pants and T-shirt | Abroad

The boy disappeared Wednesday morning. The child probably followed his father somewhere between 5 and 8 a.m., who went to work in the Proença-a-Velha. The boy often walked behind his father, Portuguese media reported. The police do not suspect a crime at this time.

According to his mother, Noah walked with dog Melina, who has since been traced. The toddler is still missing; only a few items of clothing were found two kilometers from his childhood home. His T-shirt was found near a river, and pants and a diaper were also found across the water.

More than a hundred people are looking for Noah. The police have also deployed thermal cameras and drones. The police have expanded the search area to about five to ten kilometers around the house.

The boy’s mother, Rita, posted an emotional appeal on Facebook on Wednesday. “Please help! Our son Noah is missing from our home in Proença-a-Velha. He may be with the dog, Melina. Please come and look if you are in the area.”
