Morgenstern sues SBU for being blacklisted

The rapper filed a lawsuit with the District Administrative Court of Kiev for the recognition of the illegal actions of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Russian performer Morgenstern (Alisher Valeev) has filed a lawsuit against the Security Service of Ukraine over a ban on entry into the country. About it reported press service of the Kiev District Administrative Court (OASK).

“The plaintiff asks the UASC to declare illegal the actions of the SBU on the preparation of documents and an appeal to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine on the inclusion of a citizen of the Russian Federation Alisher Valeev (stage name MORGENSHERN) in the List of Persons who pose a threat to national security,” the court said.

The singer also asks to declare illegal and cancel the April order of the Ministry of Culture, by which he was included in the corresponding list.

In addition, Morgenstern demands from the SBU a decree banning his entry into Ukraine.

Recall that the Russian rapper had concerts in Kiev, Kharkov and Zaporozhye this summer, however, on April 28, the Ministry of Culture after a petition from the SBU added Morgenstern to the list of personsthat pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine.-
