The client of “Nova Poshta” suffered from the theft of a fraudster and lost a new IPhone of the latest model. According to media reports, the man paid the full cost of the parcel, but when he came to the “New mail” office, he was told that the gadget had already been taken away.

As representatives of “Nova Poshta” said in a comment for Styler, in one of the Kiev branches there really was an incident with a client’s package. The company described the scheme used by the criminal.

The client was informed at Novaya Pochta that the day before he had picked up his parcel himself. Upon receipt, the operators were shown the documents and the recipient’s unique code from the SMS message. The deceived client had to go to the police, as his package was clearly received by the fraudster.
How did this happen?
Novaya Pochta told the details of the fraudulent scheme, the victim of which was the client.
- The fraudster ordered a phone to one of the branches in Vinnitsa, but did not come for it.
- According to the rules of the company, the package was returned back to the sender.
- However, the fraudster got ahead of him and instead of the sender, using fake documents, he or with the help of a partner took the parcel with the phone.
“The internal investigation continues at the moment. After its completion, the company will transfer all the data on this case to law enforcement agencies and in every possible way will contribute to the arrest of the swindler,” we were told in Novaya Pochta.
