Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund forward, gave an interview to ‘Telegraph’ in which he spoke, among other things, about what he considers his great dream as a soccer player: to win the Champions League. “I’ve been thinking about the Champions League all my life”, assured the Norwegian attacker.
“Maybe it gives me an extra 1% motivation when I go out on the pitch with the anthem. That’s my big dream, to win the Champions League one day. I hope I can lift that trophy, it would be incredible.”, assured the Nordic.
What’s more, Haaland admitted that in his spare time, when he listens to music, he plays the Champions League anthem. “I’ve been doing it for a couple of years. You know, it’s a very good hymn.”said the forward, who is the youngest player to achieve a hat-trick in the competition’s history.
It must be remembered that Haaland, the wish of half Europe, will not leave Dortmund this summer. The Teutonic club assured that there was no option to transfer it this year, so everything indicates that his great leap will be at the end of next season.
