The case is being updated.
The island municipalities in Vestfold and Telemark have registered 95 cases of infection so far in June. The municipality states that 56 cases of the delta variant have been detected, but it is not known which time periods these tests apply to.
The infection continues to spread in Færder municipality. Of the positive corona samples, the municipality now has 56 cases of the Indian variant, also known as the delta variant.
– The municipality is now reviewing all samples and examining that they are associated with the same outbreak. People who have tested positive in recent days must assume to be infected by the delta variant, the municipality writes on its websites.
The municipal management is in close contact with FHI.
– It is very important that everyone now follows the infection control rules in relation to quarantine and isolation, limits the number of close contacts and tests themselves at the slightest suspicion of infection, says municipal chief physician Elin Jakobsen.
