The money was wrapped and hidden inside a vehicle that was searched by agents of the Webb County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver was taken into custody for questioning and after further investigation, he was arrested for money laundering.

Laredo, Texas.- A total of $ 22,000 was seized by officers from the Sheriff’s Office of the Webb County on Texas, when stopping a vehicle at mile 20 of Interstate 35 southbound for a traffic violation.
After speaking with the driver, a search of the vehicle was conducted, where agents discovered two packages of what were suspected of being illicit money.
The money was wrapped and hidden inside the vehicle, indicative of drug trafficking, in total a total of 22 thousand dollars were seized.
Driver, Mario “N” The 43-year-old was taken into custody for questioning and after further investigation, he was arrested for money laundering and booked into the Webb County Jail, later released on $ 7,000 bail.
