A man, whose identity remains unknown, was kidnapped in the middle of the street, early Tuesday evening, in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime).
Witnesses saw a person being “manhandled by others”, then taken in a car, in the district of Caucriauville, specified the prosecutor of Le Havre, Bruno Dieudonné.
Traces of blood
“A vehicle which could correspond to that designated by witnesses of the scene was found. For the moment, this is only a hypothesis, which will have to be validated by other investigations”, added the magistrate. DNA analyzes are in progress.
Traces of blood would have been found in the sedan in question, specifies the Paris-Normandy daily.
A settling of scores?
The prosecution opened an investigation for kidnapping, forcible confinement and criminal association. The track of settling scores, against a background of drug trafficking, is only a hypothesis at this stage.
