Julie Douib’s ex-partner, killed in L’Ile-Rousse, Haute-Corse in March 2019, was sentenced this Wednesday afternoon by the Bastia Assize Court to life imprisonment with a security sentence of 22 years.
Bruno Garcia-Cruciani, 44, was also sentenced to ban on possession of a weapon for 15 years.
The couple had two sons, now aged 11 and 13. The decision to deprive Bruno Garcia-Cruciani of parental authority will be studied after this criminal verdict, during a civil hearing.
