Next Friday, June 18, the Cine Club returns to the Cine Monumental Theater. It does so at 9:00 p.m., with the screening of ‘The Dream Factory’, a romantic comedy directed by Martin Schreier and with Dennis Mojen, Emilia Schüle and Heiner Lauterbach as protagonists.
Admission to the Cine Club, one of the cultural and leisure proposals of the City Council’s Department of Culture, is free, although to access the room you must be in possession of a membership card.
Synopsis of the film
In the summer of 1961, Emil (Dennis Mojen) began working as an extra at the prestigious Babelsberg film studios. During the filming of a blockbuster he falls in love with the French dancer named Milou (Emilia Schüle). When finally the conquest, the filming is suddenly canceled and they are forced to separate since the Berlin Wall is raised in August of that year. Years later Emil will draw up a daring and risky plan to make the filming continue and meet Milou again.
