The researchers are working on such questions. So far it seems extremely difficult

German Institute for Standardization eV DIN-“> Nanoparticles For example, treat brain tumors that would otherwise not be treatable. In view of the problems that researchers have today in intentionally getting sufficient quantities of nanoparticles across the blood-brain barrier, it is rather unlikely that this happens unintentionally through other, not specially tailored nanoparticles.
An exception is the passage of nanoparticles through the olfactory nerve: this is where nanoparticles can get into the brain. However, all previous results from corresponding experiments indicate that the amount of nanoparticles that enter the brain either via the blood-brain barrier or via the olfactory nerve in the olfactory epithelium of the nose is very small. Further research efforts need to be carried out here.
