BEIJING, June 15 (Xinhua) – China’s Education Ministry on Tuesday announced the establishment of a special department to oversee after-school education and training programs.
The new department will be responsible for the management of after-school education and training for preschool children, as well as primary and secondary school students.
It will set standards for the content and duration of online and offline training, the qualifications of tutors as well as fees, and oversee their implementation jointly with the relevant authorities, according to the ministry. End
