Mario Party goes back to its roots

Since the beginning of the Nintendo 64, Mario Party has stood for equal parts joy and anger, and now Nintendo looks back in time for the next game in the series.

Mario Party Superstars offers a lot of content from previous games, with a total of five boards taken from the Nintendo 64 era (which consists of Mario Party 1-3), including Peach’s Birthday Cake and Space Land.

Here you have to trudge around as you did in the old days, while collecting coins, discovering secrets and participating in mini-games. The mini-games that come with Mario Party Superstars are taken from the entire series, and with a total of 100 different competitions, there is a danger of many intense game sessions in the time ahead.

The game will support regular button control for those who are not completely friends with motion control and joy-con cloning. In addition, the game will also support online multiplayer, both with acquaintances and strangers.

Mario Party Superstars launches on October 29, 2021.
