Night doctor, this is the story of Mikaël (Vincent macaigne). At nightfall, he goes to treat patients from difficult neighborhoods, but also drug addicts. Trained by his pharmacist cousin (Pio Marmaï) in a dangerous traffic in false prescriptions, torn between his wife and his mistress, his life is taking water everywhere. Mikaël knows it: if he does not want to sink, he must take his destiny back in hand. Of all plans, Vincent Macaigne carries with an intensity both disturbing and touching this captivating melody doubled by a film noir signed by Elie Wajeman, the director of the Anarchists.

Mikael, your character in the movie, is not doing well. What made you want to bring it to the screen?

What’s beautiful about this character is that he’s very human. It is full of paradoxes. He is caught up in his life story, in his problems, and he tries to get out of it. He tries to do things right but he is caught in a lot of knots that he has tied in his life and that he tries to untie overnight.
