Capcom at E3 – in the eyes of the editors of PPE.pl
Roger: Capcom earned so much fleet on Moster Hunter and Resident Evil that he could walk past E3. I passed. A showcase without any surprise, focused on a collection of detective games, Resident Evil’s 25th Anniversary Feces, and Monster Hunter, which we all knew before. I was hoping for some nice closing. Teaser Street Fighter 6, new material from Pragmata, I naively dreamed of a new Dino Crisis or Onimusha. Even the logo, as it used to be with Metroid. At the end I got what I don’t really like – esport. The biggest plus? Rating up for a very charming and energetic presenter who kept us awake bursting with enthusiasm. A conference that was really redundant.

Wojtek: Sad … Capcom showed up at E3, but basically you could say the company wasn’t here. Monster Hunter shows? We see the same “show” literally every few weeks … Great announcement from the Resident Evil series? Missing anything … The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles? It’s a pity to comment. Eh, I have no idea what this conference was for.

Matthew: Watching today’s Capcom show I had the impression that all publishers are hiding their heads in the sand after what Xbox presented yesterday. Microsoft (and Bethesda, of course) has swept everything off the board, and it’s going to be hard for anyone to beat them during E3 – and certainly not with their already released titles. The presentation of the new content for RE Village was really embarrassing – you really couldn’t get a few, even minor details about this expansion? Eh, that’s a shame.
